You can cancel your subscription at any time with no retention period. Access to our service will be available for the remainder of your current billing period. To cancel your subscription now, go to the account management page.

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.

We use Stripe as our payment provider. Your credit card details and billing information is stored with them and will never touch our systems.

We use our payment provider Stripe to manage billing information and payment methods. To update your information, browse to your account page and click Billing dashboard under the Billing management section.

We cannot manually trigger a charge. Our payment provider will retry up to four times within two weeks. As long as a working payment method is on file before the last attempt, everything should be alright, but until then you may run into another failed charge message if it falls on one of these days.

To obtain an API key you need to sign up for a subscription through the registration page.

For subscription users there is no rate limiting applied besides for the monthly limit applied from the subscription plan. Users without a subscription will be limited to 100 requests a day.

Most names are predominantly used for either males or females, so a statistical approach will often yield good results. There are of course names that are used across both sexes, but a statistical approach will reveal that too. Furthermore, naming conventions can rely on cultural differences, so scoping statistics to a single country will help achieve more accurate results.

Gender prediction works by statistical probability and as such it is hard to talk about accuracy. If a certain name yields a female probability of 92%, it means that 92% of our dataset for that name is female. If your own data is unbiased, it will be correct 92% of the time.
